- Agreement to Terms
By engaging the services of Great Northern Air & Refrigeration, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
- Services Provided
We offer Residential and Commercial Air-Conditioning services, including Chemical Cleans, Installations, Breakdowns, and Preventative Maintenance. Services are subject to availability and confirmed via written agreement.
- Service Area
We operate within Far North Queensland (FNQ). Any services outside our standard service area may incur additional travel fees.
- Quotation Validity
All quotations provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices may be subject to change after this period.
- Payment Terms
Payments are due upon completion of the service unless prior written arrangements have been made.
We accept cash, credit cards, and bank transfers. Late payments may incur additional fees.
- Booking & Confirmation
Appointments are confirmed only after we receive a booking confirmation from the client. Unconfirmed bookings may be cancelled at our discretion.
- Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients must notify us of cancellations or rescheduling at least 24 hours before the appointment.
Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 20% of the quoted service cost.
- Access to Premises
Clients are responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the premises. This includes the removal of obstructions and securing pets.
- Safety Measures
We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe for our staff or equipment.
- Warranty & Guarantee
We provide a warranty on workmanship, valid for a specified period, as discussed during the service agreement.
Any defects in parts or materials provided by us will be addressed in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Limitations of Liability
We are not liable for pre-existing issues, unrelated damages, or delays caused by external factors.
Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
- Parts and Equipment
Clients may provide their own parts, but we cannot guarantee their performance or suitability.
Parts supplied by Great Northern Air & Refrigeration are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Environmental Responsibility
We adhere to all environmental laws and regulations, including proper refrigerant handling and waste disposal.
- Maintenance Recommendations
We may recommend maintenance schedules for optimal system performance. Clients are responsible for adhering to these recommendations.
- Privacy Policy
Client information is collected for service delivery purposes and is protected under Australian privacy laws.
- Service Limitations
Our services are limited to the agreed scope of work. Additional tasks not covered in the initial agreement may incur extra charges.
- Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve the issue amicably.
- Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Updated terms will be made available on our website.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
